During the winter season, from June to September, Caviahue Ski Resort opens its facilities and accesses to the slopes. It has 22 tracks: with 3 levels of difficulty. Its 13 liftis provide a transport capacity of 8,800 skiers per hour.
Caviahue is ideal for developing the following activities: alpine and cross-country skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, caterpillar vehicle excursions (snowtracks), night trips to mountain huts and a spectacular descent of 8 km. off-piste from the mouth of Copahue volcano to the base of the ski center.
